Cameluxe is Max Mara’s response to a changing world. Through a special upcycling process, the excess fabric from the production of the iconic camel-hair coats is recovered and mixed with recycled polyester fibers to form a highly insulating and high-performance padding.
Representing a new frontier in responsible fashion for the italian brand, Cameluxe’s upcycling process requires less energy consumption, waste production and water usage. The innovative fabric production has minimized CO2 emissions compared to a manufacturing process that relies on virgin fibers.
