Born in 2008, e Cube is Max Mara’s responsible line, entirely dedicated to outerwear. The collection is made with upcycled excess fabric from the main line, an innovative material called Cameluxe.

Cameluxe is Max Mara’s response to a changing world. Through a special upcycling process, the excess fabric from the production of the iconic camel-hair coats is recovered and mixed with recycled polyester fibers to form a highly insulating and high-performance padding.

Representing a new frontier in responsible fashion for the italian brand, Cameluxe’s upcycling process requires less energy consumption, waste production and water usage. The innovative fabric production has minimized CO2 emissions compared to a manufacturing process that relies on virgin fibers.
